What is the difference between Polartec® fleece and copycat fleece?

Copycat fleece is thinner, it pills and mats, and the colors are fuzzy.

Polartec® is 100% polyester and comes in lots of vibrant colors. And Polartec® fibers stand upright, which gives them their thermal qualities.
